The 2013 Miss Cagayan Coronation Night,one of the core events of the Cagayan de Oro City fiesta
or Feast of Saint Augustine, was held at the Lim Ket Kai Atrium on the evening of August 24, 2013. The event
was sponsored by the city government under Mayor Oscar Moreno with the
assistance of volunteers and other private groups which were headed by Eileen
San Juan, chair of the 2013 CDO fiesta committee. Mayor Moreno gave his “happy
fiesta” address to the spectators during the occasion. Also present was his
wife Arlene and local officials such as Vice Mayor Caesar Ian Acenas, Councilor
Bong Lao, Councilor Gaga Brilleta and others. Candidate number 5 Amadea Lucia
Piatti was chosen among the 12 beauty contestants as Miss Cagayan de Oro 2013. She will also become the city’s “Ambassador of Goodwill” for 2013. Greane
Trisha Mendoza, Miss Cagayan de Oro 2012, and the runner ups of 2012 beauty
pageant also graced the event.
